Upper Peninsula Business Planning CohortFree Business Plan Classes for U.P. Entrepreneurs

Five-week online cohort starts Oct. 1

A free cohort will help U.P. entrepreneurs develop a business plan, as well as discover other resources for starting and growing a business.

The U.P. Business Plan Cohort begins Oct. 1; enrollment is limited and entrepreneurs are encouraged to register early. The courses will be held online every Tuesday in October from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Registration is open now: https://bit.ly/UPCohort

The cohort will build comprehensive business plans that will help with attaining capital, but will also learn about market research, financial projects, cash flow and strategic planning. Cohort members will be eligible to access resources in Initiate, Northern Initiatives’ online learning portal usually available only by subscription. By the end of the course, entrepreneurs will have a solid roadmap to launch or grow a business successfully.

“Developing a business plan is the first step, but it often leads to so many other steps, and we will cover all those steps as well,” said Jody Lindberg, U.P. Business Coach for Northern Initiatives. “As we work through our plans, we learn about projections, legal issues, marketing, and more, because all of those are part of planning a business.”
