Black Women Capital Access Program
Northern Initiatives has partnered with The Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) and Fluent to launch the Black Women Capital Access (BWCA) program to help change the way Black female entrepreneurs access capital.
As part of the BWCA program, selected Black women-owned small businesses may be matched with a participating lender for an opportunity to gain access to capital using a new diagnostic tool, called The Fluency Score, which works like a FICO Score for early-stage businesses (in operation for two years or less). Small business owners will be assessed for capital access using their Fluency Score and will receive compensation for their time and effort. You can find out more about Fluent and the Fluency Score here.
If you are a Black woman entrepreneur, complete the interest form today to become one of up to 100 Black female entrepreneurs to participate in the Black Women Capital Access program.
