Snackwerks offers ESL classes

Snackwerks, a longtime Northern Initiatives customer, continues to amaze us with their workforce initiatives. The latest, an English as a Second Language class, is yet another stellar example of what it means to be a quality employer. The level of involvement from many Battle Creek partners is wonderful as well!

The language barrier doesn’t hide their talents in the jobs they perform, it does make it more difficult for them to take on leadership roles and that was a concern for Jeff Grogg, Founder and President of Snackwerks and President and CEO of JPG Resources, writes Jane Simons in Second Wave SW Michigan.

“There are a lot of ways to make things better and they don’t always have to be about the money,” Grogg said.
